Rubber address stamps are mounted on wood with a wooden handle and require and ink pad to make the impressions.

Pre ink address stamps have the ink infused in the stamp during the manufacturing process. These stamps are guaranteed to last for thousand of impressions. With the pre-ink stamps there is no stamp pad to keep up with and no mess.

Self inking address stamps have a pad build into the stamp and a rubber stamp die that is inked in the unit. This address stamp has no stamp pad to keep up with.
